Renaissance Insurance is one of the leading companies in the Russian insurance market. The company has decided to start a digital transformation of all its processes and needs tools to test new product ideas without spending many resources.

Problem space

The company did not have a developed design culture, and therefore all products had a different build structure and visual styles, which affected brand awareness and positioning.

It was necessary to create a single system that would allow all employees and customers, without changing their habits, to use all the company's products conveniently.

Goals

Bring all the company's products to a single style. Create a system and templates for designing products.

Increase the speed of designing, developing, and testing new products and ideas.

Outcome

Development of a unified system for designing the company's products. System design is based on the Brad Frost principle of Atomic Design, which implies that the system is built from components, taking into account their hierarchy.

Usage

I have created documentation with examples of when and how to use system components and use them.

The new system helps you understand how to create products faster and more efficiently, without spending a lot of resources. All products have a single visual language.

Conclusion

Creating a Design System and its documentation is a fascinating journey for a talented team consisting of engineers, product managers, marketers, and myself. Along the way, we jointly solved many exciting problems, investing our experience and knowledge, learning from each other.
